 View of the Lincoln Memorial, the Reflecting Pool (site where most people stood to hear Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's famous "I have a dream speech") the pool has been drained and is 6months into a 2 year restoration project. Did anyone else believe that the Monument sinks a little every year because it was built on swamp land? Apparently this is not true, but now I'm hearing the Jefferson Memorial is the one sinking! I can't keep up!
