Prabal Gurung for Target

Can I tell you how excited I am for #PrabalForTarget this high/lo retail collaboration is single handedly restoring the public's faith in the Target Designer collaborations, just when we thought the Target x Neiman Marcus debacle had ruined it. This time around Target went back to its roots with spot on pricing, a signature print carried throughout the line and the designer making pieces he is already known for...in this case girly dresses. The line went on sale online at 3AM and in-stores at 8AM and I think people will be able to grab what they want for the first few hours then most of the pieces will sell out. Get it while it's hot!

This nolita print shirt dress is my favorite piece in the line. Perfect for a beach cover up in Miami or Vegas and versatile enough to wear to dinner downtown paired with skinny jeans and heels. I can't get over how well Analeigh Tipton, 3rd runner up from America's Next Top Model (cycle 11), styled the shirt dress...so funky!

"New York based Prabal Gurung (pictured above) has been leading the wave of new American designers since his debut collection in 2009. His design philosophy is characterized by a mixture of modern luxury, indelible style and an astute sense of glamour." Wow! Launch to mass retail collaboration in 4 short years...now that's grinding! What pieces are you planning to buy?

  1. Girl, you cleaned up!! Great pieces! I didn't get the shirt dress, and now I kind of want it, but it's sold out. Your assessment of the collection is spot on! It's such a great collab!
