I had a great time at the launch of the SJP (Sarah Jessica Parker) shoe line last night at Nordstrom Pentagon City. It was only a matter of time until Carrie Sarah Jessica Parker cashed in on the 5th character from the SACT (Sex and the City)…the shoes!
Any fan of the show remembers how obsessed Carrie was with her Manolos; the episode where she tries to buy her apartment and realizes she's slowly gone broke over the years due to her shoe obsession haunted me when i decided to buy a home. Thankfully SJP kept us single, home owning ladies in mind when she priced this shoe line, available exclusively at Nordstrom. The most expensive shoes cost just $425 (the SJP Etta pump available in black or pink) and $485 (brown leather bootie that looks suspiciously like the Manolo Timberland) respectively. Some of the least expensive pairs are the Billie Suede Flat for $195, which is reminiscent of the popular Chanel espadrille flats, and the Wallace Sandal for $250, which I love!
But my favorite pair hands down were the SJP Lady pump in bright red grosgrain for $350. Overall the shoes were well made, beautifully styled and oh so Carrie! Save up and buy a pair before they sell out. SJPxNordstrom
