A Fresh Wave at Republic Restoratives

WHAT I WORE: tip to toe!

top: Hands on Drums | bra: Agent Provocateur | jeans: Madewell | heels: Ann Taylor

I recently got a chance to attend one of the monthly Bubbles and Bloggers events in DC. I'm usually travelling for work so I miss these events; you'll recall the last one I attended was way back in December of 2016 when I attended the vintage themed Bubbles and Bloggers brunch

This month's theme was green and the event was sponsored by the all natural odor eliminating brand Fresh Wave. This woman-owned company has created natural odor removing products that use simple, pure ingredients  - water and natural extracts of lime, pine needle, clove and cedarwood - to get rid of smelly situations. Think febreze that's so safe you could spray it directly on your child or pet, both of which stink from time to time.

The event was held at another woman-owned business - Republic Restoratives - a crowdfunded distillery located in Ivy City. The pairing between Fresh Wave, Republic Restoratives and Bubbles and Bloggers was genius! All three women led enterprises. The food and drinks were beyond delicious - my cocktail had a twist of lime... an ingredient found in both our drinks and the Fresh Wave products and included some yummy candied ginger.

I didn't have much green in my wardrobe - especially for summer - so I paired this African print top with a pair of lime shoes and called it a day. In the gift bag from the event we received several full-size products from Fresh Wave, which was nice but we also received a travel size room deodorizer spray which I've already used in an airplane bathroom and in my hotel room. I'll definitely be on the look out for the laundry booster next time I'm in Target or Harris Teeter because my dog's toys, bedding and blankets could use a deep clean. Have any of you readers visited Republic Restoratives or tried Fresh Wave?
