West Elm Georgetown Pop Up Shop

WHAT I WORE: tip to toe!
West Elm Georgetown Pop Up
Based on the fact that I keep getting invited to DC furniture store openings...I've decided that the universe wants me to start NESTING!

I was excited join other bloggers for a press preview of the new West Elm Pop-Up in Georgetown. The store felt like a hip boutique; it was a scaled down and well edited version of the William-Sonoma affiliate.

Artist Aakash Nihalani (click to check out his very cool website) was hand picked to design a tape art installation, specific to this store.

I was surprised to see hand made items like these Aid to Artisans Papier-Mache Animal sculptures.
