Father's Day

Growing up my mom and her sister combined households so I grew up with an older male and female cousin that were like siblings to my sister and I.        

 

To my cousin Rasheed, who has his own son, and who got on the next plane to California when my father died to be there to support our family, that gesture meant more to me than you'll ever know.

I would like to take this time to say thank you to all of the male role models that helped to raise me.
